From Hands-On Investor to Passive Wealth Builder
- 20 years of hands-on real estate investing experience
- MBA in Finance | Accenture | Microsoft
- Data-driven approach to market and deal evaluation
I spent 20 years as a hands-on real estate investor in Seattle, managing rental properties, running vacation rentals, handling tenant calls, and learning the business from the ground up. I loved building wealth through real estate. I didn't love being the one responsible for every detail.
That's when I discovered multifamily syndication: a way to invest in large apartment communities alongside other investors, with experienced operators managing the properties. It was the same asset class I already believed in, with the same wealth-building potential, but without the 2 a.m. phone calls and the never-ending to-do list.
I founded Ancora Capital Group to help other investors make that same shift — from active to passive investing.
Whether you're a landlord looking for a better way to grow, a busy professional exploring real estate for the first time, or someone seeking income and long-term wealth outside the stock market, I help investors access carefully vetted multifamily opportunities by partnering with experienced teams who acquire and manage apartment communities.
Before real estate, I spent years in Fortune 500 consulting with Accenture and program management at Microsoft. I hold an MBA in Finance and bring that same analytical, systems-driven approach to evaluating multifamily markets, teams, and investment opportunities.
I care about integrity, putting people before profits, and building long-term wealth in a way that creates more freedom — not more complexity.
